GeoSpock, the spatial big data company, has partnered with Baltic Exchange to build the world’s most advanced global maritime database. The platform will act as a global knowledge base to understand the past, present and future emissions in the maritime industry. As part of this work, GeoSpock will be working with the Baltic Exchange and its stakeholders to gather data to understand the achievements and future of clean maritime.
The outcomes of the project will be made available to contributing partners. The initial phase of the project, which kicked off in July 2019, requires historical data around ship location, technical specifications and emissions.
